Amazing location in the middle of Bodmin moor with exceptional 360 views from the moor to the sea with huge skies.
A perfect wild camping style set up with clean composting loos and an excellent cold water shower all beautifully handmade and practically constructed for everything you would need.
Dog friendly with plenty of options for long walks off the site.
Great pub less than 5 mins away serving delicious, locally sourced meals and a local shop in walking distance for any essentials.
Super friendly owners and onsite dogs, with helpful advice and a warm welcome.
Can’t wait to come back, breathe the moorland air and relax at Helluva View!"

"Soooo Amazing! ...
Such a lovely place with amazing views, so peaceful. Kerry is a lovely lady offering her fields of the farm to pitch up in. She has compostable dug out toilets, which I was nervous about! But actually they’re really cool and has everything you need with toilet roll, sanitary item bags, bins and big box of sawdust. (I will add, it doesn’t smell at all!) The village is beautiful and there’s a very popular pub (The Old Inn and Restaurant) right opposite the turning to the farm, food is amazing there and staff are very welcoming. The drive in was lovely, right through the moors with lots of cows and sheep roaming free. This is the perfect stop to just get away from it all and chill. We only came for a night, very last minute, but so happy we’ve found this place. It’s beautiful. We’ll be returning!"

"Wow! What a little gem of a place...
As the name suggests it really does have a helluva view, it’s just stunning.
We watched the sunset over the coast with the moors behind us, perfect!
It’s perfectly placed for exploring the coast and the beautiful moors, which are literally on the doorstep.
Dog friendly with a great pub just up the lane, what’s not to love?!
We are so happy we found this place, we’ll definitely be back.

Affordable Pricing
Enjoy an affordable countryside escape at Helluva View Camping - just £15 per pitch, per night for 1 tent or 1 campervan or 1 motorhome, giving you great value for a true outdoor adventure!
1 pitch - £15 per night: Includes up to 2 Adults (& 2 dogs).
Additional Adults (over 16) are charged at £5 per head.
Children (under 16) are charged at £3 per head.
Infants (5 and under) are free.
With 50 pitches available for booking between 1st June 2026 and 1st August 2026, you can secure your spot for a peaceful getaway.
A pitch can include up to 1 vehicle, 1 awning, 1 gazebo.
Additional vehicles are charged at £5 each per stay.
So pack up, roll in and soak up the stunning moorland views!
Sorry we cannot accept caravans on site.
Bookings
Upon booking, we will require the following:
- The mobile number of the lead booking person
- The registration number of the vehicle you will be parking next to your pitch
- Number of people on your pitch
- How many pitches required
- How many nights you intend to stay
Guests will be expected to depart the site by 11am.
New guests can arrive on site after 12pm.
When booking, the value of the first night will be required as a non-refundable deposit (via a BACS payment) to confirm your booking.
Disclaimer: Booking is at own risk. Helluva View Camping will not issue refunds for bad weather or circumstances beyond our control.
Dog-Friendly
We believe adventures are best shared... especially with your four-legged companions! Well behaved dogs are more than welcome to join you as you soak in the moorland views. Whether it's sniffing out new trails, lounging by the tent, or simply enjoying the great outdoors... your furry friend will feel right at home.
Please be aware, we are a working farm & livestock are sometimes present near the campsite field. Please be responsible for your dog around our livestock & please pick up your dog's waste & dispose of it appropriately in the bins provided.
Disclaimer: Any guests with dogs that are not under control & risking the health of our livestock, will be asked to leave immediately & no refund will be given.

There's no shortage of adventures waiting right outside your tent flap! Step straight onto a public footpath from the campsite and explore the breathtaking moorland, where wild horses roam freely. For cycling enthusiasts, the scenic Camel Trail offers bike hire and several charming café stops along the way. You can take a dip at the nearby Delphi bridge and explore our beautiful local moors. Whether you fancy a peaceful stroll, a rugged moorland trek, or even horse riding and trekking through the countryside, there's something for every outdoor lover. Just across the way, history buffs can visit the local church, while families can enjoy a play park just down the road. For those craving a seaside escape, the nearest beach is only a 20-minute drive away, making it easy to round off your adventure with a dose of sea air and sandy toes!
